Body - Hand laid and locally reinforced GRP, with boot, bonnet and doors double skinned. Exposed areas of body tub sprayed in rubberized coating to eliminate stone chips and hygroscopy.

Chassis - IRS Beetle chassis, fully refurbished and modified with substantial steel sub-chassis, all components powder coated for longevity. ALL mechanical components are renewed with German sourced quality components. Cars feature disc front and drum rear brakes with new brake lines and hydraulics throughout. The T6 has a modified fully adjustable [ height and suspension ] front beam, and features modern rack and pinion steering to eliminate the bump steer inherent in the original Beetle design [ Remember VW switched to rack & pinion steering for the later Beetles]. Chrome 6” wheels fitted with premium quality radial tyres with finished off with period style chrome hubcaps. A full replacement chassis with wishbone suspension is under development.

Interior
- The drivers compartment is some 4” [ per side] wider than standard Speedster replicas and takes advantage of this by fitting widened Speedster style seats as standard [ see options ]. Facings are in top quality Leather with matching folding rear seats, door panels, and crash padding. EU spec. seat belts are fitted as standard [ black ]. A full complement of period gauges and switchgear is also fitted.

Weather Equipment - Easy to erect Mohair hood, includes matching hood bag. Full size aluminium framed windscreen with manual wind up windows completes the modern and efficient weatherproofing.
